ACES Electronics Co., Ltd. (3605), held its “ACES 30th Anniversary Charity Vehicle Donation Ceremony and Appreciation Tea Reception” at its R&D Headquarters at 1:00 p.m. on October 25. Led by Chairman Yuan Wan-Ting (袁万丁), the company jointly donated six charity vehicles to support community needs. Distinguished guests attended the ceremony, including Taoyuan City Mayor Chang San-cheng (張善政) and his wife, Chang Chi-ya (張琦雅); Chen Pao-min (陳寶民), Director of the Department of Social Welfare of Taoyuan City Government; Lee Hsin-yao (李欣耀), Deputy Director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Hsinchu City Government; Peng Te-chun (彭德俊), Deputy Director of the Department of Education of Miaoli County Government; Chiang Cheng-kuang (蔣爭光), Mayor of Jinfeng Township, Taitung County; Hsu Chih-ling (許誌玲), Director of Huxi Township Library, Penghu County; and Li Heng (李恆), Executive Director of the Qi-Zhi Skills Training Center. Their presence marked a heartwarming and memorable milestone in ACES' 30-year journey.
As ACES celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, the company remains committed to giving back to society, continuing a tradition established in 2006 of donating charity vehicles in the names of employees recognized for outstanding performance. To mark this milestone, ACES expanded the scale of this year’s initiative. The six vehicles unveiled at the ceremony included four mobile library vehicles named “Hsu Chang-fei, 徐昌翡 號” “Lin Heng-sheng, 林恒昇 號” “Wang Chi-chen, 王啟真 號” and “Zhai Fen, 翟芬 號” which will support reading promotion initiatives in Miaoli County, Hsinchu City, Penghu County, and Taitung County, respectively. The rehabilitation bus named “Lin Wan-fu, 林萬福 號” will be operated by the Department of Social Welfare of Taoyuan City Government to enhance transportation services for people with disabilities. Meanwhile, the multifunctional public-service vehicle named “Hsu Chia-chang, 許家昌 號” will serve the Qi-Zhi Skills Training Center, supporting services for trainees and its diverse operational needs.
Chairman Yuan Wan-Ting (袁万丁) said that Confucius (孔子) once described the age of 30 as a stage of establishing oneself and one's principles. For ACES, reaching its 30th anniversary represents not only a new beginning but also a fresh starting point toward its next phase of growth. Quoting the renowned Chinese philosopher Zhang Zai (張載)’s aspiration to “bring lasting peace and prosperity to generations to come,” Chairman Yuan encouraged all ACES employees to uphold the principles of “pioneering new horizons for the industry, creating value for customers, pursuing excellence in technology, and contributing wholeheartedly to the nation.” He further called on the company to build on its 30-year foundation, advance toward its 50th anniversary, and aspire to its 100th, while continuing to pursue both business growth and shared prosperity with society.
Chairman Yuan (袁万丁) also expressed his gratitude to all the distinguished guests for joining ACES in witnessing this meaningful philanthropic initiative. He noted that the six vehicles will serve different cities, counties, and service organizations, delivering tangible benefits to local communities. Looking ahead, ACES will continue to uphold its founding commitment to giving back, contributing its strength whenever and wherever society needs support, and reaching out to help more people.
Taoyuan City Mayor Chang San-cheng (張善政) stated that nearly 100,000 people with disabilities live in Taoyuan, including approximately 50,000 with moderate or severe disabilities. Rehabilitation buses play a vital role in helping people with disabilities travel to medical appointments, go out into the community, and participate in social activities. Mayor Chang expressed his sincere appreciation to ACES Electronics, a company rooted in Taoyuan, for remaining committed to giving back to the local community while pursuing business development. He thanked ACES for donating a rehabilitation bus to the Department of Social Welfare of Taoyuan City Government, helping strengthen transportation services and expand service capacity for people with disabilities.
