The mobile library will share the joy of reading the remote villages such as Simacus
        and help the children discover the treasures of knowledge.

 

Taoyuan City, Taiwan – December 29, 2022 ESG and CSR have become the most concerning issues in recent years. ACES Electronics (3605-TW) (from now on referred to as “ACES”), the connecting solution industry leader, has been paying attention to rural areas or places with relatively scarce resources since 15 years ago. At the end of 2022, Mr. Iven Yuan, chairman of ACES group, led the staff to go to Jianshih Township of Hsinchu County to donate a “mobile library” truck, which cost nearly a million NT dollars for remodeling. They were welcomed and surrounded by local children wearing traditional Atayal costumes; everyone was inquisitive about this “Transformers-like” truck and even more excited by the books and the novel stories in the library.

Since 2008, ACES Group has donated nearly one hundred ambulances and mobile library trucks in the name of the group's outstanding employees annually. The tentacles of care have spread to all corners of Taiwan, from the mountains to the seashore. The starting point is to motivate employees to generate an infinite cycle of goodness. Every year, three to four worldwide employees are selected from over 10,000 employees around the globe, and ambulances or mobile library trucks are donated in their names. Not only to participate in social and public affairs but also to build a sense of honor among employees and work together to create a safer and more caring environment.
 

Right before Christmas Eve in 2022, the ACES group sent a heartwarming gift to a remote rural town – Jianshi Town. A mobile library truck in the name of the “Wang Hui-Zhen” donation ceremony was held at Jianshi Township Office, Hsinchu County. The Hsinchu County Government thanked ACES Group has been caring with practical actions for two consecutive years. Nevertheless, Chairman – Iven Yuan looks forward to children finding a broader perspective from the books, absorbing the experience and wisdom of many ancestors through reading, and building a better future for themselves. This mobile library truck will go into the villages and tribes in the front and back mountains of Jianshi Township. It can flexibly load the small library into Simakus as far as possible so that children in rural areas in mountainous fields can also experience the joy and wisdom brought by reading as most other kids do in the urban areas.
